Day Thirteen - Bringing Sexy back!

Saturday, June 30th, 2007

What a beautiful Saturday! The sun is shining and I’ve already got a good bit of stuff done today. I love waking up early and being productive.

So today I decided to take a page of my good pal Dustin’s book and bring sexy back. Now I know he did it first back in December, but today I decided to let Grace at Fx Studios buzz all of my hair off. After comparisons ranging from a homeless person to Ted Koppel I wanted to do something new. This is the end result. Hopefully, after a string of really bad pictures this week, today will indeed Bring Sexy Back to the Blog. Any Thoughts?

So today’s shirt is another fine Tea and Crumpets production. I made this Ten Speed shirt when I first started really becoming aware of Bikes again. I really neglected bike riding from the age of 13 - 25 mainly because of skateboarding. I’m proud to say today that I am back on the bike, riding my good ole Fixed Gear Bianchi. I love riding, Although commuting in the city of Baltimore can be somewhat dangerous. This city isn’t very bike friendly and let’s just say most of our motorists have a blantant disregard for bikers. Anyway, back to the shirt…These little bikes wrap around the side and has been a top seller for T&C, watch out for the fixed gear version sometime this summer.

Enjoy your day! I’m going to wrap up my first painting in a new series and enjoy the waterfront later tonight.

Day Twelve - Friday!

Friday, June 29th, 2007

Happy Friday everyone! I woke up a little early today to try to get some early posting done!

I love Friday, Not only is it the start of weekend, it provides closure on the work week. It always feels good to get projects wrapped up and reflect on the progress that was made throughout the week. I feel confident I will leave work this Friday and not have to think about unfinished work all weekend.

Today’s Shirt is another one of a kind Tea and Crumpets shirt. This shirt came to life after a day of cutting rubylith. I actually like using rubies, great burns on your screens and it’s fun peeling the film. Anyway, this is the only Green one that exists. I always try to make atleast one per design that’s a little different to keep for myself. Selfish? Maybe…Oh and the straw hat and guitar? I decided to pose as a singer song writer this morning and write a song about how I can still taste the Indian food I had yesterday for lunch. It was really good, but It just won’t go away now.

So that’s it for today. Time to head into the office. Have a great friday.

Day Eleven - Will this week ever end?

Thursday, June 28th, 2007

Short and sweet today! Ton’s of work to do and just not enough time to write about my usual nonsense.

Nice crotch shot right? Not the most flattering picture, I look like a crazy overweight monster, but who cares. Today’s shirt is a basic striped pocket T from the Gap. It’s really the only thing the gap is good for, basic stuff. I unfortunately have to be semi-professional today, for a meeting so I thought a nice striped shirt would cut it.

iPhone comes out tomorrow! I think i want it.

Day Ten - Ole’ Sleepy Eyes

Wednesday, June 27th, 2007

Yesterday was a good day. Hopefully today is even better.

The O’s shirt was a blessing in disguise yesterday, I wore it on a whim, and I ended up getting free tickets to the O’s vs. Yankees game. The game was awesome, O’s won in the ninth, I pickled my liver, and made nice with tons of Yankee fans who try to take over Camden Yards when the Yanks are in town. I actually did the opposite of making nice, one big yankees fan in a sleeveless shirt wanted to lay hands on me on Maryland’s finest form of public transportation, the light rail. I must say it was a great time hanging out with Brad, Chris, and ole’ Jesse Miller at the ballpark.

Thanks again to those who are making donations! Lauren, Juliet, Brian, and a few others have made some very generous contributions! I also appreciate those who have shared their stories about loved ones who have suffered from Alzheimer’s.

So today’s picture was taken in front of my old house (notice the for sale sign) by my good friend Brian Garner. I really do miss that old shack. I also have a little sleep in my eyes, hence the finger rubbing.
Anyway, Today’s shirt is a sweet Soul Cannon shirt. I made this for the band a couple month’s ago and my good friend Greg of Press Press Merch printed it. Soul Cannon keeps it real in Baltimore, spreading positive hip-hop, and mind boggling jazz improvisation. Check out their myspace page if you get the chance!

Sorry if today’s post is all over the place, I moved the heaviest desk of my life this morning with Brian, and am now trying to build more website mock-ups. All in a days work!

Day Nine - Dem Oriolebirds

Tuesday, June 26th, 2007

Tu-Tu-Tuesday! How’s the weather in your neck of the woods? It’s already 90 Degrees in Baltimore, and the humidity put me in a
choke hold as soon as I walked out the door this morning. Hopefully you’re experiencing better weather than us Baltimoreans today.

Speaking of choke holds, I almost had get crazy on that black ninja cat in the office. He snuck up on me out of no where today. Good thing I took
Karate when I was 6.

Does anyone listen to internet radio? Well if you do, Most of your favorite webcasts will be silent today in protest of the rate hike, that will
ultimately shut down lots of these independent stations that can’t afford to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars in new fees. Yahoo, 89.7 WTMD, and other well known sources of internet radio are participating in the protest. Read more about it here. Save Internet Music

How bout dem O’s? Today’s shirt is not a throwback, it’s the real thing. This O’s T-shirt hails from 1983, the year the O’s won the World Series, the only world series in Baltimore in my lifetime. This shirt gives me hope that maybe one day I can fully experience a O’s Championship. The way they’re playing now (ok the last ten years basically) makes me want to sleep for a very long time. Enough about the O’s back to the shirt…I usually don’t wear this one though, I try to keep it in tip top shape in hopes that one day I can pass on to my son (which has yet to be conceived) and it can bring him the same Joy it’s brought me.

You’ll notice the PayPal button is Live and when you click it sends the Donation to a secure page to contribute to the Alzheimer’s Association. I just wanted to thank Brian Garner, a master lithographer by the way, for making the first contribution to the site.

That’s all for today folk, time to go Do Work!
