Day Eight - Sleepy

Monday, June 25th, 2007

Happy Monday? I’m beyond tired, sleeping at my new place has been rough so far. I just can’t wait until my body gets used to being in a new environment.

So today is the official launch of the new site. Hope you all like! I’m still waiting on the Paypal Donation button, they have to approve the charity, but there is advertising space available. Feel free to email me for more details.

Today’s shirt is another shirt I made for Tea and Crumpets, just a big ole’ two color pattern. I personally am not really a huge pattern fan, but I feel like when they aren’t really overwhelming they can work. Anyone remember Qbert? Yeah, that’s what people usually call this one.

Did anyone else have a great weekend? I sure hope so. We definitely played the whiffleball game of our lives on Sunday, I can’t wait until next week. I wish everyday was sunday, and there was a sweet whiffle ball game to be played. Oh, well. I’m kinda doing some tired rambling this morning.

Hope you all come over to the new Blog with me!

Day 7 - Don’t Die

Sunday, June 24th, 2007

I love waking up early on Sunday! If I don’t wake up early, I feel like I’m wasting half the day. Anyway, lot’s to do today, gotta make a trip to the grocery store, going to go hit some batting cages, see the folks, and play some whiffle ball before retiring home to prepare myself for another Monday.

So from here on out my Blog will be moving over to www.3hundred65shirts.com. It’s time I move to my own domain, and put up a Blog that I designed. Wordpress is great, but it’s time to move on. Hopefully everyone digs the new blog, nothing overwhelming I just wanted to keep it super simple to focus on the content.

Now for today’s shirt. For those of you how don’t know, Mono is a really great Post-Rock band from Japan. I’ve been lucky enough to see them live twice here in Baltimore and experience their wall of sound live. If you’re into bands like, the now popular, Explosions in the Sky, or Do Make Say Think, you may want to check out Mono. The shirt itself is kinda funny, and something that I probably usually wouldn’t wear. For one, I hate shirts with guns, I don’t own a gun, and have never even shot one before. Plus I don’t want people to die, I want them to get stoked out on life. Anyway, It is what it is, Mono doesn’t kill, but their sound sure does.

Have a great Sunday. Feel free to send comments my way, and please surf the new Blog.

Day six - Keepin’ it Crump!

Saturday, June 23rd, 2007

Who doesn’t love the weekend? You show me the person who doesn’t and I’ll show you a damn liar. Anyway, Sorry for the late post, the mix of Vodka and Natty Boh made for a late night, which made for an even later morning. However, I’m up and working on the new blog today with my good pal Dustin.

I think its so gnarly that I’m getting coverage on other Blogs, especially the great ones in Italy and Australia. I hope the coverage continues and helps raise awareness for my cause, Alzheimer’s Research. Speaking of that, My new Blog which will Launch on Monday Morning, officially, will contain a Paypal button where you can donate money to, and more links to the Alzheimer’s Association.

So now for Today’s shirt. This is the only “Crump Shirt” that exists on the American Apparel striped shirt. I must say I’m a big fan of their stripes, and plan on doing some custom dyes in the near future. This was also the first shirt I ever printed with dye instead of plastisol, or acrylic inks. It’s nice and worn, and feels much nicer. A limited edition version was printed on white American Apparel shirts, and I believe a couple are still available at Tea and Crumpets. If you haven’t caught on yet, Tea and Crumpets is my line of shirts that I work on along with two pals here in Baltimore, Md.

That’s all for now folks. Enjoy the beautiful summer day! Only 181 more days until Winter…My favorite season, who doesn’t love snowboarding and coffee all day long?

Day Five - Let me Upgrade U

Friday, June 22nd, 2007

Friday, how come you feel like Saturday? Does anyone else feel this way?

So the last song I heard in the car today was Beyonce’s “Upgrade U” and now all I want to do is party Motley Crue style. I know you’re probably asking yourself, wouldn’t Motley Crue make you want to party Motley Crue style? No, Beyonce is the Motley Crue of 2007. Trust me, she throws down a lot harder… Vodka IV’s…she’s above that man…Anyway, I realized I’m good at talking about absolute nonsense everyday all day long.

I also wanted to give a shout out to Marta in Italy for giving me some blog love (or making love to my blog – sounds sexier). Also, Melanie at T-World gets the Rad Person of the Day Award, the RPDA, for leaving a great comment in the old About section.

Now for Today’s Shirt! This is one of my personal favs, made by Commonwealth Stacks, a super rad company out of San Fran(?) that has some top notch design. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think they are also making limited run stuff for Beams-T in Japan. I’ll have to fact check that after this post. Also the pose today, is a signature look back while giving the guns, once seen only in the pages of US weekly, now seen worldwide thanks to this blog…Did I mention a lot of people hate this shirt, I don’t think I have ever gotten so much S for a well designed t-shirt…Oh well here it is, enjoy it or hate it!

That’s all for today folks. I am not launching my full Blog until Monday, who launches stuff on Fridays anyway? Remember you can always contact me at Rad Dewd Mail - otherwise known as Gmail Have a good friday!

Day Four - Bitchin’ Tree Shirt

Thursday, June 21st, 2007

Good Morning! Does anyone else feel like crap today? Hopefully, it’s just the Natty Boh and slow cookedchicken I ate at Brad’s spot last night, and not parasites eating a hole through my stomach. Besides that all is well here at 365 Shirts, The new Blog is almost ready for launch and we had a record day yesterday. We even hit as high as number 41 on yesterdays top blogs on Wordpress. Word.

Just like yesterday I’m stoked on the fun comments and questions, and I would again like to address some of them.

1) Dan’s comment on my hairdo. My hair, for one has been pretty different each day so far, and is what I would like to call “controlled chaos.” To the lay person, it looks like bed head, but those who are with it admire my beautiful thick head of hair. Actually, No you’re right, I do kinda roll out of bed with this style. Good catch.

2)Yes I will wear the shirt you send me! I addressed that one yesterday. Contact me for my info!

3) No, I do not date Men. Sorry, I don’t think there is anything wrong with Dewds who love Dewds, but not this Dewd. I love Chicks.

Now for today’s shirt…Look at me all relaxed in my chair. So this one, The “Bitchin’ Tree Shirt” was the first shirt I made for Tea and Crumpets.I believe it’s about 3 years old now, but I could be slightly off-base. I usually am. Not too much to say about this one, Did you catch the brilliant play on words. I hope you did, because If you didn’t…well let’s just leave it at that. That’s all for today folks….Day Four. Bitchin’ Tree Shirt.
