Day Forty Four - The Throw it Regulars

Tuesday, July 31st, 2007

Wouldn’t that be a great name for a Softball team? Nobody wants those crazy magic pitches…Anyway, Happy Tuesday! Hopefully you are enjoying today as much as I am.

Today’s shirt is part of the Volcom Artist series. I was a bit skeptical of Volcom clothing, but I must say that this is one of the most comfortable shirts that I have ever owned, and the detail in screened in tag is fantastic. I kinda thought that everyone is doing artist series now…RVCA, 2k, etc…but I liked the fact that I never heard of some of these Volcom cats. Anyway, great purchase in my book, the slim fit tee fits perfect. Would I buy another one? Yes, granted I can find a design as cool as this snail and centipede…if it is a centipede…

Day Forty Three - Puffy Shark Shirt Monday

Monday, July 30th, 2007

Happy Monday! This is the best “Monday Mood” that I have ever experienced. I feel like nothing can bring me down today!

So I probably should have saved this shirt for a “wrong side of the bed” kinda day, but it’s just so much fun that I couldn’t wait. I picked up this puppy on the Ocean City boardwalk in one of its many novelty t-shirt shops. You know those places where you can pick up an array of Nascar, beer drinking, deer killing, women objectifying, and overall trashy t-shirts…Anyway, they had a radical selection of heat press shirts and how could I not drop $9 on something this bada**. I wish you could all just reach out right now and touch my chest, you’d feel the full effect of the puffy waves and shark head. Well, maybe we could keep the chest touching to a select few…scratch that. How about you just imagine. Anyway, that’s it…I got a few more sweet OC purchases in the works. Who knows when I might pull them out…

Hope your Monday is going as good as mine!

Um…Today is Day 43…sorry for the mix-up…

Day Forty Two - Pop Lock and Drop it.

Sunday, July 29th, 2007

So after some late night annoyances I got a little sleep, woke up early, and went to a Home Depot in Dundalk. I had to go get new locks for both of my doors, which have been installed successfully. It’s safe to say that I’m a pretty handy guy.

Since I am doing some odd jobs, a little cleaning, and some napping I decided to go with the red tagless Fruit of the Loom shirt from Urban Outfitters. Like I said before, comfortable shirts with a great fit.

Can’t wait until tomorrow! I think I might have a nice Monday surprise for all of you out there surfing the Internets and searching the Google.

Day Forty One - Best drive home ever.

Saturday, July 28th, 2007

What a great drive home from the beach! Usually I hit tons of traffic but this time it was smooth sailing, and was in great company. Anyway, I took a quick pic in the car today. Can anyone (who doesn’t know me) guess what kind of car I drive?

The shirt of the day is another striped shirt from the Gap. Simple, fun, and comfortable…That’s what I like about Gap T-shirts. I wish other stuff there fit me as well as their t’s do.

Day Forty - Richey Blvd

Friday, July 27th, 2007

Watch out for the new Thomas Luvnote and Richey Blvd album dropping soon! Now that’s out of the way…Where do I start. Let’s begin today’s blog with last night. My Ocean City mission was completed when I purchased $56 dollars worth of airbrushed t-shirts. The shirts are based on the fictional name of Dustin and Stacey’s unborn child…Ricky. Follow? Just look at the shirt. Who doesn’t love Unicorns? (editors note: I think the group collectively purchased over $200 dollars worth of airbrushed gear)

I started off this morning with a four meal in one omlet at the Bayside skillet with Dustin, Stacey, Jared, and Rachel. Not only did I learn that Chicken, eggs, and salsa make a great breakfast; I also learned that older Hillbilly gentlemen think my t-shirts are “precious.” Then after much debate we decided to go back to the boardwalk, where I made two of the best purchases of my life (you will all see soon) and lost 9 dollars to a game called “stacker.” I have never felt so broken down after losing to a video game. I’ll post pictures later…We stopped by Tony’s pizza where I had my fifth meal for the day, and then proceeded to head back to the car only to be sidetracked by the Airbrush shop. While standing out front of the shop the airbrush artist approached us and asked us what all of the “Ricky” shirts are all about (he asked us because he noticed our “Ricky” shirts which he made). Jared felt the need to point out the fact that Dustin and myself were wearing them…the whole reason he approached us in the first place…Anyway, that’s pretty much the last 20 hours. I got caught in the riptide in the ocean (for real) but no one came to my rescue at first because I was smiling. Then they all realized that they have never really seen me swim so much so something must be wrong. Atleast when I’m caught in harms way I can keep a big ole’ grin on my face…Thanks Dustin!

I’ve kinda got a headache so hopefully this all makes sense. Time to shower and head out to find more ridiculous shirts to wear. I’ll be posting more pictures later! Over and out…Richey Blvd.

Updated July 29th - I just wanted to add in more pictures!
