Day Thirty Nine - Hello Mrs. Ocean City

Thursday, July 26th, 2007

july267.gif

Good afternoon! I decided to fit in a post today between man tanning sessions. If you didn’t notice by the sweet photo I am currently living life at the Ocean. Maybe I’ll elaborate on the day later on tonight…

Today’s sweet shirt is basically a one of a kind. I’m the only person outside of the Rodgers and Hammerstein family that is able to don this chest piece. Yes, it is another one of my designs and yes, it references their most famous musicals, thanks for asking. So that’s all I got on this one. I look forward to more beach photography, and possibly some scopes tomorrow.

Day Thirty Eight - Do the Grumpy Grunt

Wednesday, July 25th, 2007

I must say that this shirts motto must have rubbed off on me this morning. I already had a heart attack over some “shipping/printing mistakes” that never really happened. Sometimes you just need to stop and read. In my defense, when I am looking through job notes on one job, there shouldn’t be other tracking numbers mixed in for other projects…With all grumpiness aside, I am so ready to hit the beach…Only 10 more hours!

So this Grumpy Grunt shirt not only shows off my manly body, it also has a little history to it. The shirt was made for my Dad back in the seventies when he was in the Marine Corp. As the story goes (well what I remember) it was made at a shopping mall with some sweet iron-on letters by my good ole Mom. Grunt is obviously what they called Marines (soldiers), and I guess my Dad was a little grumpy. Who knows. Ok so the story wasn’t as good as I remembered it to be. I should have fabricated something a little more exciting. Maybe something with Bert Reynolds…Anyway. Thats all for today. Next time you see me I’ll be having fun in the sun! Stay Tuned…Same Blog Time, Same Blog Channel…

Day Thirty Seven - Its Thursday.

Tuesday, July 24th, 2007

Wait a minute, It’s not Thursday? Well it is for me this week, because tomorrow right after work I’m driving to the Beach for a nice four day weekend! I can’t wait…Knowing that I get to just totally relax with great friends makes it pretty hard to focus…Also, I get a shot to even out my sweet farmers tan!

Today’s shirt is from a show that I went to a couple years ago. I’ve never listened to the band, but talked to one of the members and decided to get behind their tour and support them by buying a t-shirt. I guess I could pop on over to myspace and check them out, but I’d rather not. I got the vibe from them that they love what they do and that’s all that should matter. Anyway, Spill Canvas rounds out my Day Thirty Six.

Day Thirty Six - Nice Midriff

Monday, July 23rd, 2007

Boy am I moody this Monday morning. I did find this prison rendition of Thriller to cheer me up. Anyway, Mondays are just no fun! Only two more days until I get to go downy Ocean! That’s the Baltimore way of saying, “I am going to the Beach.”

Anyway, Today’s borderline belly shirt came from Urban Outfitters and only cost me something like 6 bucks. Call me lame for shopping there, but when I get to look like Where’s Waldo for 6 bucks, they are definitely doing something right.

Day Thirty Five - Maryland Matters

Sunday, July 22nd, 2007

Yes, Maryland does matter! Another quick post today, I gotta go enjoy what is left of this absolutely beautiful Summer day…

Today’s shirt was my first eBay purchase ever about five to six years ago. I can’t remember the exact events that led up to me finding this shirt, but when I saw the auction for this little yellow number I just knew I had to have it. This shirt has been all of the place with me, and survived many a wild night. I think if I saw my friend Chris “eh man” Minkiewicz he would probably still call me Maryland Matters…or Natty Boh…which all stems from a party where no one knew my name, so I was nothing more than the shirt on my chest and the drink in my hand…Anyway, get outdoors and enjoy the day!
