Day Seventy Five - I Heart 3 Day Weekends

Friday, August 31st, 2007

Three Day weekends absolutely rule! I’m not hating on work either, because I really like my job. However, there is nothing like the weekend, especially when you have an extra day. I already have so much to look forward to this holiday weekend so I can’t stop thinking about it. Softball Friday, hanging with Dustin on Sat, lazy Sunday, and then Horse Racing on Monday. Hopefully I can report all of my earnings on Tuesday…I’ll definitely be taking a lot of photos this weekend to spice up the boring Morning shots that I usually put together.

Shirt 75 of 365 is my sweet Natty Boh (Bro) “Oh Boy what a Beer!” shirt. If you’re not from Baltimore or Maryland chances are that you have no idea what Natty Boh is. National Bohemian, Natty Boh proper, was once made in the Land of Pleasant Living (Baltimore) and still reigns supreme as the local Beer of choice. Last time I read over 100,000 cases are produced for (by Pabst) and sold in Bmore each year. How can you deny that one eyed smile of Mr. Boh? Legend has it that after 13 Natty Boh’s you can only keep one eye open…

Day Seventy Four - Free Dem Birds

Thursday, August 30th, 2007

By this point in the year many Baltimoreans have already put the Baseball season behind them. The end of summer means training camp has wrapped and the beloved Ravens are back out on the football field. Now while I do enjoy watching the Ravens play, I can’t give up on the baseball season until the last game of the World Series in October. So Today I am wearing a “Free the Birds” shirt as a reminder of Baltimore’s original Birds, the Orioles.

Day Seventy Three - Team Tilt

Wednesday, August 29th, 2007

Go Team Tilt! For those of you who are just tuning in for the first time, or just never knew, Tilt Studio, Inc. is my place of work. We are a small boutique Design and Marketing team based in Charles Village. We have a wide variety of clients ranging from local shops and artists to corporations who own airports and distribute paper. The one unique thing we try to bring to every single project no matter how big or small, is a environmentally friendly approach. Whether it’s making the right paper choices, using FSC certified printers, or actually trying to develop a “green” program within a company we do it with every client. Raising awareness is a very important step in our process. A very important step that we feel a lot of people overlook.

Anyway, We got a great team and are producing some great work! I’ll be posting new projects as soon as they are completed. Trust me some exciting stuff!

As for the shirt, it’s a Team Tilt shirt used for events, etc. Printed on the “Sustainable Edition” American Apparel Shirt. My one gripe with this shirt is that it shrinks way too much. It’s super soft and holds ink well, but just doesn’t fit like it used to…

Day Seventy Two - 94′ Player of the Year

Tuesday, August 28th, 2007

Who is this guy? I wish I had a clue…Today’s shirt is another value village shirt, and this time it’s a sweet custom “Player of the Year” shirt. It probably came from one of those Beach or Mall kiosks that superimpose your head onto other bodies, animals and whatever else you can conjure up.

Why would you want to give up your one of a kind 1994 “Sporting Times Player of the Year” shirt? It’s really beyond me…This is definitely a treasure in my opinion. I wish I was lucky enough to have my own face on one, but for now I just have to wear the shirt of some nameless man across my chest. Sounds weird…

Check out the sexy bat pose…It’s kinda like that old Jose Canseco baseball card, where he is posing shirtless with his bat…I should make a calender of sexy baseball bat poses…Any takers?

A shirtless Jose Canseco…

Day Seventy One - Back to School

Monday, August 27th, 2007

I wanted to start off today by wishing every teacher a Happy Back to School Monday! Now that school is back in session I have to leave 10 minutes earlier for work and fight even harder for a parking spot on Monday and Tuesday. It’s all worth it though, especially because it means cooler weather and great holidays! I love the Fall and Winter!!!

Back to the basics today! Another tagless fruit of the loom t-shirt from Urban Outfitters. I guess by now it’s obvious I got a ton of them. They were too cheap to pass up. I think I still have one more to break out…Stay tuned.
