Day Ninety Four - Cool Hands

Wednesday, September 19th, 2007

Today I’m sporting a charcoal grey Cool Hand Luke shirt. No not the Cool Hand Luke starring Paul Newman. This Cool Hand Luke is a three piece Indie band from Tennessee. I saw these guys many moons ago in a youth center in Harrisburg, PA with another stellar band Noise Ratchet (Now defunct). It’s good to see that CHL is still making new music and spreading their positive message. One thing that stuck out about these guys was the the guitar players sketch books and art at their merch table. It was refreshing to see someone sharing work along with their music, and as an artist myself it really made me want to find out more about them. I’ll admit I don’t frequent shows as much as I used to, but all too often merch tables seem like a competition for who is more scene or rock and roll. CHL made it feel like a community, where you could comfortably share your thoughts, shop and experience other items besides their music. Good Stuff.

Day Ninety Three - Doubled Up

Tuesday, September 18th, 2007

That’s right folks, not too exciting with the shirt option for today. I simply layered my v-neck fruit of the loom t-shirt with a sleeveless test shirt that I got a long time ago from Press Press Merch. Speaking of Greg and Press Press, I still need to post wedding photos! Hope your having a radical time in Maui!

Day Ninety Two - Kings of Comedy

Monday, September 17th, 2007

Apparently this guy was really funny one night and someone thought enough to buy this t-shirt from his merch table. King of Comedy, he is not…Check him out.

Painful actually. I guess the shirt was goofy enough to suck me in though. Atleast I only paid a dollar for it!

Day Ninety One - Quickie!

Monday, September 17th, 2007

Man, I am totally tired out from the weekend wedding get away. Greg’s wedding was so much fun! I got a good amount of photos which I should be posting soon.

Today’s shirt is my brother’s old little league shirt. I love that kid! Anyway, It still fits me because apparently he wore a adult large shirt when was in 11-12 baseball, even though he probably weighed 100 pounds or less…I promise to do some seriously posting this week!

Day Ninety - One to Waste

Saturday, September 15th, 2007

Holla Back! I’m down in beautiful Norfolk today to see my great friend Greg get married. I’m sporting a lot of black today, so this old express t-shirt will make for a fine undershirt. This old rag dates back to 2002/2003 when they tried to get all hip and commission designers to make stuff like hang tags, jeans, and shirts. Needless to say I’m not really an Express fan…Have a rad day. Hopefully I’ll have some fun wedding pictures to post!
